Fit out: Hames Sharley, Perth

Hames Sharley entirely re-imagined the 1,100sqm tenancy above Kmart on Hay St, Perth for their new Western Australia office. The space, abandoned for decades and long deemed unfit for use, now provides a unique workspace for the architecture and design agency.

The works involved creation of a Hay street Mall entry and lobby to access the previously unreachable upper floors along with works to the basement and forming and installation of two new lifts.

Level 3 was stripped back with the floor space extended to create a flexible working space and a stairwell between floors 2 and 3, with the Hames Sharley Studio taking occupancy of the new office space. A rooftop garden was created with facilities to enable it as a function space.
