16 floors, 1,500 employees and the largest LED media wall in the Southern Hemisphere, Salesforce Sydney is a workplace behemoth years in the making. A collaboration between global design leads Mark Cavgnero Architects, Group GSA, IA, the Wiseman Group and SHAPE, this workplace is like nothing else in Australia.
Three “O’hana” (family) floors are open to visitors, and feature spacious meeting areas, flexible furnishings, two barista bars and two commercial kitchens. 20-30 chefs work daily, and a chef’s table allows guests to dine while observing the culinary experts in action. An innovation centre is a cutting edge customer hub, dedicated to customer-centric experiences and positioned to maximise Sydney Harbour views.
Ten floors of the fit out are reserved for employees. Taking design cues from nature, level 51 interfaces with the outdoors through an expansive Sky Terrace with native Australian plantings. Shielded from the elements by reinforced glass, This is an incredible location to take in panoramic views of Sydney Harbour and the Blue Mountains.
The pièce de résistance is the double-storey atrium across levels 38 and 39, which features a 16 metre wide curved screen and some of the world’s most advanced lighting and theatre equipment. The space will host keynote speakers and stream events across the globe, including Dreamforce, the world’s largest software conference.
The project is on track to receive LEED Platinum certification, which will see it become the first Australian workplace over 10,000 sqft to receive this status.
