Fit out: University Chambers, Sydney
University Chambers recently relocated from their Elizabeth St office to the newly refurbished Macquarie House, an A grade office tower offering spectacular views across the city, the Royal Botanic Gardens, and Sydney Harbour.
With sustainability, well-being, and flexibility being geared at the forefront of the design, the design also reflects the firm’s sense of calm and attention to detail. The internal steel stair is an essential piece in the workplace to facilitate movements and physical health. The structural steel staircase designed and constructed by Active Metal is semi-encased by the feature brass balustrade screen, which is a perfect design to remove the constraints of base build floor plates, creating a classic and private ambiance. The stair handrails are finished with premium leather wrap, adding layers of sophistication to this staircase design in a modern boutique workspace.
